About Us

Are you looking for a unique and invaluable experience during your college career? Missouri S&T Formula Electric offers hands-on exposure to the entire process of designing, building, and testing a Formula style race car. This collaborative environment fosters teamwork, innovation, and problem-solving skills as members work together to optimize the vehicle’s aerodynamics, chassis, and overall performance. Additionally, participation in competitions allows team members to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world situations, enhancing their engineering expertise.

All majors and disciplines are welcome. Our team has fostered a learning environment from mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, all the way to geologists and civil engineers.

Come to Our Meetings!

They are held each week, starting the second week of classes, at 6 pm in BCH 124. Just show up, find a seat, and we’ll do the rest!

Join our Discord!

Our discord is where all of our online communication happens. You’ll join different channels depending on what sub-teams you’re interested in. This is also where we will announce important information and events, such as our drive days, socials, etc…

Officially Sign Up for the Team!

In order to be an official member of Missouri S&T, you’ll need to sign up for the team on the SDELC portal. This is also where you can sign up for training classes in order to use equipment needed to build the car.
